Easy Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits Knock-Off Recipe

This recipe for Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay biscuits is fairly close to the real deal.

There are many knock-off recipes for these delicious biscuits and this one is very similar to the original that is served at Red Lobster restaurants nationwide.

It’s amazing how much people love these biscuits. Red Lobster serves up  almost 1.1 million of their Cheddar Bay biscuits every day. That’s a lot of biscuits.

Of course, Red Lobster won’t share the exact recipe for making their delicious biscuits, but they do give a hint on their Website: “Do not over knead the dough.”

Here’s a knock-off recipe that should tide you over until you can get to Red Lobster and have the authentic version!

Here’s what you will need:

2 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

Heat oven to 450 degrees.

Mix bisquick, milk and cheese until a soft dough forms.

Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 6-8 minutes or until golden brown.

Mix butter or margarine and garlic powder. Brush mixture over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.
